I just saw the comment you left on my...Hey Allison! I just saw the comment you left on my blog! Sorry it took me so long to find it! Your cake pops are adorable! I make mine with my signature chocolate cake and super-secret cream cheese frosting recipe. I have also made them with pumpkin cake and they were good too. I have tried them with strawberry cake and they were too moist. I have also made them with coconut cake and they went over very well. Cake pops are a hard item to price due to the fact that they take A LOT of work ( as you know) and I make both the cake and the frosting from scratch. The over head cost would be less if I made them from box/can but I refuse to sacrifice the quality. That said, I am having a hard time pricing them based on my margins and what people are willing to pay. Needless to say I am still feeling out the pricing! BTW your tote bag cakes are ADORABLE!!! So cute!
