Jayhawk country...

So, we drove to Kansas. It took us about 3 hours to get there, we had lunch, went to an antique store, and then drove 3 hours back home.

We ate lunch at a local pizza place in Goodland, Kansas, a small town about 15 miles into Kansas on I-70.

We took some pictures of the countryside and I have to say, I was blown away by the beauty...

And now, I'm fairly certain we never have to go back to Kansas.
