Last weeks in Boulder...

On our trip the other week we also traveled up to Montana and stayed up in Whitefish for two nights, visited Glacier National Park, and then drove down to Big Sky. We didn't take that many pictures, but it was beautiful up there. After Big Sky we drove back through Yellowstone again to get to Boulder...what a wonderful trip!!

Our time in Boulder is coming to an end...which makes me very sad because I LOVE it out here! So we have been doing some fun things these past couple of weeks besides packing...we celebrated halloween boulder style!

We were Peter and Lois Griffin from Family Guy...

Robin was a party animal, Lois, and then Christine was Nancy Kerrigan...

All of us out on Pearl Street with our friend Nick...

Boulder goes really crazy at halloween...

Yes, that is a woman running down Pearl Street with a pumpkin on her head, naked...

Every halloween there is a naked pumpkin run down Pearl St in Boulder (happened around 11pm), and people run naked with carved pumpkins on their heads, carrying bags with their clothes...

It was hilarious! There were at least 50 people that ran (guys and girls) and tons of people lined up cheering them on...no policeman! That's Boulder for you...but apparently Boulder police got in trouble last year for not arresting anyone so 12 people were arrested this year...although there is a naked bike ride every Thursday night down Pearl St and there was recently a naked bike protest in Boulder against oil in which no one got arrested....you just got to love Boulder... :)

After halloween, we have been packing, and had a Boulder thanksgiving at John and Lisa's on Sunday night...it was so much fun! I only have one picture because I forgot to take any...

We also went down to Pearl St on halloween day where they had trick-or-treating for kids and ran into John, Tyler, Judy, and Lisa...

Today we saw snow...more to come!

ohhh boulder - how i love thee. i think once y'all move back to winston you should start having naked parades downtown. i really think it would catch on. bringing a little piece of boulder tradition with you. :)
